Dave is an experienced litigator who prides himself on maintaining a well-rounded civil defense practice. His clients include physicians and medical practices, hospitals and long term care facilities, automobile, truck, and commercial vehicle insurers, local businesses, and national corporations. Dave enjoys trial practice and has successfully defended cases involving allegations of medical malpractice, automotive liability, premises liability, and products liability. In addition to his work handling civil litigation, he maintains an active healthcare regulatory practice and represents physicians in False Claims Act/whistleblower claims and investigations, Georgia medical board complaints, Medicare/Medicaid and private payor audit and overpayment appeals, and subpoena responses. Dave enjoys spending his free time with his wife Sarah and their three children.

- Defense verdict in three-week trial against a hospitalist involving severe neurological injury and seeking $30 million in damages
- Defense verdict in Federal lawsuit alleging failure to diagnose spinal cord injury and seeking $20 million in damages.
- Defense verdict in premises liability action against Georgia restaurant
- Defense verdict in serious injury case against hospital system
- Defense verdicts in binding arbitrations in multiple wrongful death claims against nursing homes
- Represents global product manufacturers in product liability and premises liability actions
- Represents transportation companies (trucking, logging, and towing) in serious injury and death cases; Serves as local counsel for complex business litigation
- Federal practice includes FCRA and TCPA actions and employment litigation
- Successful motion practice and settlement negotiations regarding Qui Tam and allegations regarding False Claims Act
