Erica has been litigating medical malpractice, long term care, and premises liability cases for the defense since 2004. She has significant experience representing physicians, physician assistants, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes, and surgical centers in actions alleging professional negligence and related claims at all stages of litigation. Erica also defends clients in products liability and premises liability litigation in both state and federal courts in Georgia.
Erica successfully has tried numerous cases to verdict, as well as defending long term care cases in arbitration. She also has effectively litigated several matters in the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Georgia and has represented clients in administrative matters before the Georgia Composite Medical Board.
Erica has been recognized by her peers annually as a Georgia Super Lawyers' Rising Star or Super Lawyer since 2010. She frequently speaks to medical groups including annual lectures to various physicians assistant programs since 2011.
