Fran specializes in the representation of hospitals, nurses, and nursing homes in medical malpractice cases. She has represented these facilities in medical malpractice, wrongful death, negligent credentialing, negligent supervision, and premises liability cases, and has counseled hospitals on a wide range of issues related to these claims.

Following an active trial practice in the early years of her career, Fran has focused in recent years on aspects of litigation away from the courtroom, including management of pre-suit claims, preparation of witnesses, defense of witnesses at deposition, expert preparation and defense, depositions of plaintiffs’ experts, and handling of various motions during the discovery phase and up through pretrial conference and trial motions. Fran’s clients appreciate her attention to detail and the unique perspective her trial background brings to these key pre-trial events.
