Josh is a partner in the firm’s Raleigh, North Carolina office and his primary focus is the dedicated defense of major academic medical centers, hospitals, and healthcare providers in medical negligence and healthcare litigation matters. He also defends other complex liability claims involving high exposure. A significant portion of Josh's practice centers on defending long term care and skilled nursing facilities against claims for professional malpractice.

Josh also brings twenty years of litigation experience representing companies and individuals in a wide variety of other complex civil, commercial and business disputes in all phases of litigation and trial for clients across a multitude of industries, including technology, software, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, finance, manufacturing, construction, and service companies.

In addition, Josh has helped individual and corporate clients navigate grand jury and other government investigations. He is licensed in North Carolina and Massachusetts and has extensive experience before state and federal courts, specialized business courts, and in arbitrations.

Josh has contributed his talents to worthy pro-bono cases. In particular, he served as the Pro-Bono Attorney Coordinator for the New England Innocence Project, an organization with the mission to use DNA evidence and testing technology to exonerate wrongfully convicted individuals.
