Mr. Mackenzie entered private practice in 2011 and his practice is devoted primarily to medical malpractice defense. Mr. Mackenzie attended Washington and Lee University for his undergraduate degree as well as his legal education. In law school, he served as the Vice-Chair of the Moot Court Executive Board. He was an oral advocate in the 2009 Philip C. Jessup International Law Competition, and coached Washington and Lee’s 2010 Jessup team. In 2011, Mr. Mackenzie was presented with the Charles V. Laughlin Award for outstanding contributions to the moot court program. Mr. Mackenzie volunteers as a youth baseball coach for Northside Youth Organization.
Mr. Mackenzie is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in Georgia and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
