Since he began practicing, Mr. Braintwain has focused almost exclusively on representing health care providers in actions alleging professional negligence and he has considerable experience defending doctors, hospitals and other health professionals in both state and federal trial courts in Georgia. Mr. Braintwain also is actively involved in advising hospitals and other health care organizations in the areas of risk management, various aspects of regulatoty compliance and in the management of pre-litigation claims.
While in law school, Mr. Braintwain was a member of the Moot Court Board and his successes in competition earned him membership in the prestigious Chief Justice Joseph Branch Inn of Court. Mr. Braintwain also was awarded the CALI award for excellence in legal writing. He has been admitted to practice in all of Georgia.
