Daniel joined the firm in 2025 as an Associate in the firm's Lawrenceville, Georgia office. He focuses his time defending medical malpractice cases, as well as general liability cases with significant damages exposure.

Daniel began his career in civil litigation and criminal law in New Zealand, working in prominent firms and chambers including Russell McVeagh and Clarendon Chambers. He served as both a Crown Prosecutor and defense attorney, conducting numerous jury and bench trials involving complex criminal matters such as fraud, drug trafficking, and regulatory enforcement. He also argued appeals in the High Court and handled a variety of cases involving public agencies and proceeds of crime litigation.

After relocating to the United States, Daniel worked in Alston & Bird’s Financial Restructuring and Reorganization group and later led the litigation department at Williams & Associates, managing a heavy caseload of personal injury cases.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury, where he began his legal career in New Zealand. He later earned a Master of Divinity from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and a Master of Laws (LL.M.), summa cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law, graduating with a GPA of 3.99.

Daniel is admitted to practice law in both New Zealand and Georgia, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He has co-authored legal scholarship on trustee duties and his work has been published in the New Zealand Law Review and the Journal of Financial Crime.
