Drake joined Huff Powell Bailey in 2025 as an associate in the Greenville, South Carolina office. He handles the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare providers and entities in cases alleging professional and ordinary negligence.
Drake graduated with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law where he honed his advocacy skills by competing on the Mock Trial and Moot Court teams. In 2025, he was named the top mock trial advocate in the nation by the American College of Trial Lawyers. He also assisted public defenders under the Third Year Practice Act in Georgia's Northern Judicial Circuit and served as an Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.
