DeSharné Carroll joined Huff Powell Bailey in 2023. She is a member of the firm's medical malpractice defense team. In that role, DeSharné defends physicians, nurses, hospitals and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice and negligence cases.

Prior to joining the firm, DeSharné worked as an attorney in a firm in Birmingham, Alabama representing businesses in civil litigation on a diverse array of issues. DeSharné's prior experience includes personal injury litigation, insurance defense and related litigation, and business litigation in both state and federal courts. Her experience and practice includes all stages of litigation from inception to verdict, where she has obtained numerous favorable outcomes for her clients.

In additional to her Georgia law license, DeSharné is also licensed to practice law in the state of Alabama.
