Jonathan joined Huff, Powell & Bailey in 2021 and is an associate in the firm's Raleigh, North Carolina office. A large part of Jonathan's practice is devoted to medical malpractice defense. He represents physicians, midlevel providers, hospitals, long term care facilities, and other healthcare entities in cases involving allegations of medical malpractice and negligence.

Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan served as the Leslie J. Winner Fellow at the North Carolina Justice Center, where he litigated state-focused impact cases across multiple areas of law in state and federal courts.

Jonathan graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law, having served as the Associate Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board and a member of The Order of Barristers. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Clemson University, where he was a Palmetto Fellow Scholarship recipient.
