Tom Mazziotti is an experienced trial lawyer and a partner in the firm's Atlanta, Georgia office. Tom is regularly in the courtroom and concentrates his practice on the defense of complex cases with significant damages exposure, including products liability, medical malpractice and other healthcare related claims, as well as commercial litigation. Tom has been in practice since 1997 and has built a career and reputation for hard work and the aggressive defense of his clients.

Tom is the co-Practice Group Leader of the firm's Products Liability Practice Group. His products liability practice includes years of serving as national, regional and local counsel for clients in mass tort claims, as well as claims filed by single party plaintiffs. He has particular expertise in defending manufacturers of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, hand and power tools, and consumer products. He also advises clients on all matters of product safety and risk.

Tom's practice also focuses on defending physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals, and healthcare facilities and corporations in medical malpractice lawsuits and related claims. He serves as counsel on a wide variety of day-to-day healthcare risk management issues and is frequently requested to give presentations to healthcare providers on relevant risk and patient safety issues.

Tom has been recognized by his peers as a Georgia Super Lawyers since 2005. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and the International Association of Defense Counsel. Both of these prestigious memberships are by invitation only.

Tom is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended Marist High School and met his wife, Jennifer. Tom and Jennifer have three children.
