Daniel is a partner in the firm's Savannah office. He is engaged in a broad civil litigation practice and specializes in the defense of hospitals, physicians, and long-term care facilities in high exposure cases throughout Georgia. Since 2004, he has practiced in Savannah, Georgia and successfully defended numerous complex medical malpractice cases with catastrophic injuries across the state. In addition to his defense medical malpractice cases, Daniel regularly handles a variety of general liability matters, including those involving premises liability and transportation liability. He also handles the defense of products liability cases, including those with issues related to the medical field.

Daniel is frequently asked to consult with risk managers and advise hospitals on a broad spectrum of legal and risk issues, including litigation risks, peer review, patient safety and development of facility policies and procedures.

Daniel is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by his peers as a Georgia Super Lawyer in the areas of medical malpractice defense and personal injury defense.

Daniel was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia and has strong ties to the Augusta community, but he lives in Savannah, Georgia with his wife and their three children.
