Lauren joined Huff Powell Bailey in 2023 and works in the firm’s Gainesville, Georgia office. She focuses her practice on defending healthcare providers and institutions in both professional negligence and premises liability matters. Before joining Huff Powell Bailey, Lauren worked as in-house counsel in the construction industry, and has extensive civil litigation experience in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Lauren earned her law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she worked as a research assistant and as an advocate for the Education Rights Clinic. During law school, she chaired the Robert R. Merhige, Jr. Environmental Negotiation Competition, served on the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board, and volunteered for the Carrico Center for Pro Bono Service, helping clients in housing rights, bankruptcy, and wills and advanced medical directives. Lauren now continues her pro bono work as a volunteer with Atlanta Legal Aid in its Gwinnett Family Law Clinic.

Lauren is licensed to practice law in Georgia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
